Let's Fish Lake Mac is Lake Macquarie's own fishing competition, held Saturday, 22 November and Sunday, 23 November.

Held on the largest coastal saltwater lake in New South Wales, the annual catch-and-release style competition is returning for its 5th year, inviting you to fish the lake with $100,000 in tagged fish waiting to be caught. Mark your calendar, gather your friends and family, take to the lake and enjoy the fun!

Let's Fish Lake Mac is a catch-and-release style competition. Catch your fish, take a photo, then release it and try and catch a bigger one. Participants can fish from the shore or from a boat. Check out Where Can I Fish page for more info.

Fish for bream, flathead, tailor and whiting across any of the tidal waters and public beaches of the Lake Macquarie LGA.

Thanks to Lake Macquarie City Council and BCF, there will be 4 x $25,000 tagged fish swimming around the lake! Plus, over $34,000 in prizes to be won from Berkley, ABU Garcia, Lowrance, Mako and BCF.
