Down the Park: Live, Local and Loud!

Get ready for the ultimate afternoon out! Down the Park debuts at Foreshore Park on Thursday, 20 November, 4–7pm! This free, family-friendly event celebrates local music, food, and community with something for everyone.


Enjoy live performances from Charlie Farmer, Trophy Wyfe, Aunty Alan, Izzy James and Evan Worgan, plus creative workshops, circus performances, a skate comp, rides and more. There’ll be dedicated zones for families to connect and discover valuable community resources, free food, and plenty of space to relax and enjoy the entertainment.


Down the Park is all about celebrating connection, creativity and community, offering a safe, inclusive and fun environment for young people and families to come together.


Transport is available for Western Suburbs residents, with opal cards distributed via some schools and services and a free courtesy bus.


Proudly presented by the City of Newcastle in collaboration with the Newcastle Youth Collective.
