Welcome to Carrodise!

Crowd at an outdoor concert, people enjoying music near a stage with colorful lights. Casual attire, bright atmosphere, and relaxed vibe.

Earp Presents is proud to announce the return of Carrodise, the intimate one-day summer festival that's set to turn Carrington into a vibrant coastal escape on Sunday, 25 January 2026.

Held on-site at Earp Distilling Co. - a venue deeply rooted in the local community - Carrodise 2026 will welcome guests for a full day of live music, local flavour, and summer celebration during the January long weekend.

The lineup marks a landmark moment for Newcastle's music scene, with The Preatures set to headline. Fresh off their 10th Anniversary Blue Planet Eyes Australian Tour in 2025, the band is returning to the region for a more intimate, closer-to-home show at Carrodise. Co-headlining are Crooked Colours, Australia's acclaimed indie-electronic group, who'll be bringing their signature festival-sized performance to the intimate outdoor stage. The rest of the lineup features the distinctly coastal sounds of Letters to Lions, The Colliflowers, and Newcastle’s own, The Cheaks and Soyboy. With homegrown local acts kicking off the day, Carrodise 2026 continues Earp Presents' mission to champion Newcastle's emerging musicians and celebrate the tight-knit creative community that shapes the city's sound.

The event was designed with one goal in mind - to create a neighbourhood celebration that takes music festivals back to their roots. Named after Carrington's affectionate local nickname, the event embodies the suburb's industrial-coastal character and reflects the laid-back but ever-growing community vibe.

Over the past decade, Earp Distilling Co. has become a cultural anchor for Carrington, hosting events, performances, and community initiatives that bring people together over premium, locally made spirits. Carrodise extends this legacy, offering a summer festival experience that's accessible, welcoming, and unmistakably Novocastrian. Or as the organisers like to call it, "The Spirit of Good Times".

With a focus on affordability and local access, tickets range from $84 to $99, offering a boutique festival atmosphere without the cost or scale barriers of major metropolitan events. Festivalgoers can buy confidently knowing they're supporting local independent artists and small businesses.
