Bell Shakespeare’s national tour of Romeo & Juliet has kicked off, but with no Newcastle dates, Novocastrians keen to see the Bard’s star-crossed lovers will have to look elsewhere.

Fortunately, the production will appear at The Art House Wyong this October.

More than a love story, Romeo & Juliet is a cultural phenomenon. Woven into the fabric of global storytelling, its influence reverberates through film, television, music, literature and classrooms; and yet there is nothing quite like experiencing it live onstage.

Bell Shakespeare’s interpretation channels the energy and intensity of young love and ancient rivalry into a theatrical experience of epic proportions. It’s a production for longtime fans and first-timers alike. It’s love at first sight and final breath. Fall in love with Shakespeare’s epic love story all over again. If you're watching drama this year, make it this one. Catch this bold retelling at The Art House Wyong – just an hour away! From 7:30pm on Thursday, 2 October. Book tickets at www.thearthousewyong.com.au.
