Raw Challenge School Holiday Kids Run at Raw Challenge, Doyalson (Wednesday 8 – Thursday 9 April & Tuesday 14 – Wednesday 15 April)
Kids will tackle over 25 epic obstacles on the Raw Challenge wet course — a muddy, action-packed adventure focused on fun, teamwork, and connection! The approximately 2-hour course includes lunch (sausage sandwich and soft drink), and parents are welcome to walk around and watch (a waiver required). Hunter Drama’s Underwater Adventure Musical Intensive (Tuesday 14-Thursday 16 April)
Over three fun-filled days, students will learn singing, acting, movement, and stagecraft as they rehearse a colourful 15-minute underwater musical with roles assigned through a supportive mini-audition on Day 1. The week wraps up with a special showcase performance on Thursday, 16th April at 3 pm, where families and friends are warmly invited to celebrate what the kids have achieved. Steamfest at Maitland Station Precinct (Saturday 18 – Sunday 19 April)
The Burton Automotive Hunter Valley Steamfest is a celebration of the Hunter's industrial heritage, featuring a weekend of steam locomotives, antique machinery, classic cars, and family fun. HMC Multicultural Fiesta at Hunter Multicultural Communities Inc (Saturday 18 April)
This free family-friendly celebration of the Hunter region’s cultural diversity features two stages of live performances, food, market stalls, and fun activities.
